The COVID-19 public health emergency orders ended in Massachusetts and across the country on May 11, 2023. Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students, Marcella Runell, writes to the community on behalf of the Senior Team with updates to the College’s COVID-19 guidelines.

The reach of Katie’s work extends far beyond the gates of ��ҹ�첥. Her contributions to the intellectual life of the college, together with her care for her students, both in the lab and in the classroom, make ��ҹ�첥 a better place.

Renae Brodie is a recognized expert on the behaviors of crabs, tying modifications in these behaviors to climate change. She works closely with students, supervising their research and acting as a mentor, and many become published co-authors on her papers.

Through her dedication, commitment, and attention students become successful learners without compromising academic standards. Students are empowered by Karen’s sharp intelligence and keen listening ability. Karen’s approach in the classroom leads everyone in the class to interact in respectful and meaningful ways with one another.

��ҹ�첥’s Dining Services gets high marks from the Vegan Report Card for its plant-based dining options.

��ҹ�첥 sophomore Gracie Wilkinson, a chemistry major and environmental studies minor from Amherst, Massachusetts, has been named the recipient of this year’s Western Massachusetts Scholarship Fund.
