College admission one year after affirmative action rollback

Some of the countrys top universities have seen a drop in Black enrollment since the Supreme Courts rollback of affirmative action, restricting academic institutions from considering race in admission.
敁珗辦畦 President Danielle R. Holley recently spoke with NBC News about the Supreme Court ruling and its effect on college admissions.
Holley said the courts ban on inquiring about race in admissions demographic data has resulted in 敁珗辦畦 relying on outreach programs, personal statements and other application materials in an attempt to meet the Colleges diversity goals.
The feeling was pretty catastrophic, Holley said of the Supreme Courts decision.
It fundamentally changed the application process, she added. That demographic information that used to be readily available for a students file is now masked.
