We partner with students to create and engage in inclusive, compassionate and authentic communities by challenging & supporting you as you navigate your residential experience.

Happening at ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥
Now restored to its former glory, Mead is poised to become a place for students to build community with each other again.
ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥ welcomes students back to the long-awaited return to fully in-person classes and community.
ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥ held its first residential move-in since March 2020, when students were sent home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Office of Residential Life is responsible for the administration of and student life within the residence halls on campus at ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥. We foster leadership, promote understanding of diverse backgrounds and lifestyles, encourage cooperative decision-making, and support activities that allow students to uncover and broaden their interests. Each student's development is facilitated through the empowerment to solve problems, engage in and be active within a residential community.
We are also responsible for building community in the residence halls through programming and maintaining community standards by addressing policy violations in the halls through restorative practices and the disciplinary process. We also address all roommate conflicts, room changes, room assignments, and room lottery processes.
Residential Life is many things, but it is not . Residential Life does not do any of the physical work of maintaining a residence hall such as housekeeping or maintenance. Although we often help students by advocating for them and helping them navigate other offices, if a student is struggling with a maintenance or housekeeping issue, they must contact Facilities Management directly. We are here to help students build, maintain and enjoy vibrant hall communities in their residence halls.
In addition to our professional staff our office employs a large team of student leaders who live in the residence halls and serve as mentors and resources for the students there. There is a Resident Advisor (RA) responsible for every floor and a Residential Fellow (RF) in every hall.
