ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥ statement on affirmative action and legacy admissions
On June 29, 2023, the Supreme Court of the United States issued a ruling on affirmative action in college admissions. ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥ is deeply disappointed by the Supreme Court’s decision to roll back affirmative action. Make no mistake, however: ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥ will work within the law to ensure that students from historically excluded and underrepresented backgrounds in higher education are welcomed and valued on our campus and in our community. As a gender-diverse women’s college, we are committed to a learning environment that is enriched by the voices and interests of individuals with a broad range of experiences and perspectives. ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥ does not maintain a legacy admission program.
